Position: Trainee Clinical Supervisor

Derwent Rural Counselling Service is looking to recruit a Trainee Clinical Supervisor for our Counselling Service, Our head office is based in Bakewell, however we are seeking a supervisor who is flexible and able to work from several different centres across Derbyshire as well as by using a video platform.
This is a key position within our organisation. The post holder/s will offer supervision and support the Clinical Lead in leading a team of therapists, ensuring that all practitioners within the service are working professionally and ethically and meeting the requirements of the BACP Ethical Framework and national guidelines for an IAPT service. In order to achieve this, we expect an engaging, involving style which will establish a positive and sensitive relationship with our therapists.
You must be an experienced clinical practitioner; BACP accredited (or equivalent) as a counsellor / psychotherapist.

The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI) will be starting another course starting in FEBRUARY 2021.
Your commitment to the course would be 5 x 3 day (Fri, Sat, Sun) workshops, dates to be confirmed, plus one day per month Supervisory ‘placement’ work within DRCS.,
The role is on a ‘recruit to train’ fixed term basis. This is an opportunity to continue to develop a professional, ethical counselling service in an imaginative and creative way, working with enthusiastic and committed professionals.
