Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners
Working With TMHD IAPT Service, North Derbyshire
Salary of £25,000 Negotiable
37.5 hours per week
We are seeking to recruit a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our team in Derbyshire. This is an exciting opportunities to work with a committed, high quality clinical team in a rapidly changing service which has established itself as a key provider of Talking Therapies in Derbyshire. The post holders will be part of Derwent Rural Counselling Service and working with the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service known as Talking Mental Health Derbyshire in partnership with Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust.
DRCS delivers high quality clinical care within a compassionate approach, which values the dignity of service users and promotes choice. We promote well-being and recovery to help service users to take responsibility for lifestyle choices, risk taking and self- management of mental well-being.
The post holders will provide low intensity guided self-help Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based psychological interventions through a stepped-care treatment model to people with depression and anxiety disorders.
You must hold the PWP Post Graduate Certificate. We are looking to recruit to a permanent post within DRCS. You will receive excellent support in this role, including clinical skills development, caseload management and CPD.
The posts are based in Derbyshire and clinics will be held in various locations throughout Derbyshire. You will be mainly based in Chesterfield. Much of the activity undertaken at present is managed remotely.
The post holders will be employed by Derwent Rural Counselling Service.
