Our commitment

Reaching out for support should be as easy as possible. We aim to make this website usable for as many people as we can, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification.

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

• A "skip to main content" link so keyboard users can bypass the menu.
• Semantic, structured headings and descriptive link text.
• Navigation menus and expandable sections that can be operated with a keyboard.
• Colour combinations chosen for readable contrast.
• A responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops down to small screens.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and fonts served from our own site.

Known limitations

• Some pages embed Microsoft Forms and Microsoft Bookings. These are provided by Microsoft and we do not control their accessibility, though Microsoft publishes its own accessibility information.
• Map directions open in an external mapping service in a new tab.
• This website does not currently provide downloadable PDFs or documents.

If you find an accessibility problem, please tell us so we can fix it. If you contact us about a problem and are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission's Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
