Supervision
DRCS provides clinical supervision for therapists and other professionals.
'I have always found my supervision vitally important in underpinning my work. It enables me to reflect effectively on the work I do with students and improve my practice, by challenging my own assumptions and motivations. It has improved my self esteem. I cannot express how highly I value the work we do together and strongly believe that it has enabled me to provide my students with an improved level of pastoral care.'
We provide wellbeing supervision to staff in businesses and schools. Examples include line managers, designated safeguarding leads, HR staff and pastoral staff. This service is particularly valued by those who are working with the distress or vulnerability of others.
Supervision is:
- Educational
- Relational
- Preventative - it can help prevent burnout of staff and avoid and reduce staff absenteeism
- Inspirational - a safe space to explore new ideas
- Restorative
Our supervisors are qualified and experienced and supported by an organisation which has delivered supervision since 1989.
Available face to face or online.
DRCS provides 1:1 and group clinical supervision for a range of modalities of therapy so that that you can feel supported in your client work and retain your professional registration or accreditation.

'My sessions are just incredible. I come out absolutely inspired. I enter the room carrying so much baggage and I leave with a little less every single time. I honestly wish I could speak with her weekly. Thank you for every single one of your sessions'
We provide 1:1 or group supervision for staff who need a safe and confidential space to offload or explore aspects of their work role, enabling good self-care. This could be because their role involves caring for others, managing others, or supporting others.
Supervision is usually provided monthly (sometimes half termly in schools).
Job roles which really benefit from supervision include:
- Behaviour support and SEN staff in school
- Line managers
- Those responsible for risk management or safeguarding
- Anyone supporting the emotional and mental health of others
'By the end of my first session a huge weight that had been clearly weighing on my shoulders due to issues I had experienced, both at home and in my work life, had been lifted This is in no doubt down to the warm, welcoming and patient tone & manner of the supervisor, who I immediately felt comfortable and at home with. I look forward to continuing to meet and speak in the future'
The cost of supervision is £60.00 per hour.
