Volunteer Student Counsellors

We are looking to recruit volunteer student counsellors who meet the following criteria: You must be in the second year of a Level 4 Diploma, Degree or Higher-level course and have your own indemnity insurance of £5,000,000. You must have membership of a professional body such as BACP, UKCP, NCPS or similar. We would like you to provide a minimum of 4 client sessions per week initially and commit to a one year placement.

We provide free supervision in line with BACP recommendations. You will be able to access free or discounted CPD. The opportunity is to work face to face with clients in our recently refurbished Chesterfield therapy centre, Serenity House, New Beetwell Street, S40 1QR. Volunteer trustees

We are currently recruiting additional trustees with knowledge and skills in:

marketing
fundraising
digital/social media

We are particularly interested in ensuring our Board reflects the diverse population of the communities we serve.

We would welcome applications from people of different ethnic origins or faiths, young people, people with differences or disabilities and people from the LBGT+ community.
