DRCS Launch New CPD Programme
17th February 2025

We are pleased to announce the launch of DRCS's new CPD programme. Details of the first event are listed in this article with more interesting and diverse topics to come. CPD for psychological therapists, support workers and others with an interest in DISSOCIATION.
Debra Jarrett MA is an experienced Integrative Psychotherapist and Supervisor. She has a special interest in dissociation, both from personal experience and from client work in the NHS, specialist sexual abuse services and private practice. When completing her Master's Degree in 2008, Debra studied the experience of healing within the therapeutic relationship when working with dissociative sexual abuse survivors from the client's perspective and her dissertation was based on this.
Debra has written a book titled, Dissociation - Bringing it into Awareness, which was published in 2018. The book explores the experience of dissociation in depth and is both personal and professional. The fusion of personal and clinical description enables a theoretical framework to grow toward a consistent, integrated approach in clinical practice. Her book is therefore a deeply sustaining source for people experiencing dissociation as well as a significant contribution for the medical, psychotherapeutic and allied professions.
