Feel Good Friday With DRCS Appreciating Nature
31
When did you last stop to listen to the birds? This Feel Good Friday, we're sharing a simple mental health tip: to connect with nature. As autumn settles in and leaves drift from the trees, there's something so calming about stepping outside. The birdsong, the fresh air, there’s change everywhere you turn.
Getting outside, even briefly, can help regulate our nervous system. Sometimes it can be tough to make it out the door, but we know you’ll feel great for it, and once you’re back, you’ll appreciate the indoors even more than when you left.
At DRCS, our therapists know that mental health support comes in many forms - from accessible therapy to these small, evidence-based practices. Every Friday, we aim to share a new Feel Good tip to support your mental wellness journey. What's your favourite way to connect with nature?
